The Jefferson head cents of 1795 made by John Harper possibly to get amint contract to produce cents for the mint. Examples are known from several dies as follows: Sheldon NC1, Breen 1678, P5035 lettered edge with only 3 known. Sheldon 80, Breen 1679, P5040 plain edge with many known. Edge lettered "One hundred for a dollar" followed by a leaf which turns up P5055. Pollock lists this as unique. Image is a scan from the Pollock book. with only 3 known.
