This is an example of a 1922 Grant Memorial reverse die trial.

Examples are known as follows:

Copper JA1922-10/P3587. May not exist as the piece illustrated in Judd's 7th edition, ex Zerbe, Boyd, 76 ANA is die struck on both sides J2025/P2066.

White metal JA1922-13/P3590. This is also believed to be unique and is ex Fraser, Cohen. It appeared in the August 6, 1975 edition of Coin World. The illustrated piece above, from Bowers and Merena 7/02 and Heritage 1/07 sales, is struck on a normal gold dollar sized planchet and has a reeded edge and is probably the same as the piece mentioned above.
