This is believed to be an example of J461/P535 which has had its reverse planed off as opposed to being a true uniface die trial. It is on a thin planchet weighing 62.7 grains, almost 14 grains less than a standard 5 cent planchet and the reverse shows extensive scratch marks.
It is believed unique and is ex Brenner-1914 ANS exhibit, Brand (journal #92500:592), unknown intermediaries, Kagin's 9/67, Kagin’s 11/74, Kagin's 77 ANA, Kagin's 7/79, B/M 3/96, B/M 3/99, Wilcox - NGC63.
