This is an obverse hub trial without date, in white metal, of the regular seated liberty obverse used from 1840 to 1873. It is possible that P3079 is a misdescription of the above piece. It is believed unique and was part of the materials purchased by the Library Company of Philadelphia from Maxwell Whiteman. It is listed as inventory #23.
