The purpose of this page is twofold. It is to list those pieces which are or were often confused as patterns in the past as well as list pieces which may have been deliberately struck for sale to collectors. Many of these pieces have Judd and/or Pollock numbers. Others are listed in the back of Judd in appendix B.
In many cases, the error pieces listed are rarer and more valuable than the die trials they are confused with.
