This piece which is struck from 2 similar but not identical dies with One Cent in a wreath is not believed to be a Mint product. According to the description in Stacks's 1976 ANA sale, one of the sides has 26 leaves and 15 berries and the other has 21 larger leaves and 13 berries.
Not much is known about this design but it is believed related to the hard times tokens of the late 1830s to early 1840s and is possibly struck in Feuchtwanger's metal (German silver).
