Although these are described as regular die trial pieces in the standard references, it is more likely that the off-metal 'trials' of this year were deliberately struck for sale to collectors as part of complete denominational sets.

4) B/M 10/05 cleaned, hairlined, verdigris, Heritage 3/06 now rehabbed, Heritage 9/06 – PCGS62BN

Aluminum J874/P971 with only the following 2 known:

1) Kagins 11/71 ?, Heritage 8/95 ANA, Simpson-Heritage 2/21 – PCGS64 with spots/corrosion on the first 2 in STATES and the E in AMERICA

2) B/R 1974-6 Rare Coin Reviews #21-6 in set, Superior 1/85, Superior 2/87 – proof 64
