The regular dies trial piece. Examples have not been available for study to determine whether it was struck from proof or business strike dies. Only 2 or 3 are believed to exist and are probably masquerading as toned copper-nickel pieces in error. One was listed as lot 401 in H. Chapman's 1914 Parsons sale.
