The famous 1795 reeded edge cent - Sheldon 79, Breen 1677. Although listed in all the references, this is not generally collected as part of the pattern series but is instead avidly collected by large cent enthusiasts.

Why this was selected to be included in the pattern series and the 1797 gripped half cent (Breen 1528) and cent (Sheldon 120B, 121B / Breen 1701-1702) weren't eludes us.

In any event, about 10 examples are known, one of which is a holed brockage.
