This is one of 6 Washington nickel patterns produced in 1909, 4 of which, like the present example have Washington's portrait facing to the right. This used to be J1785 in earlier editions. This one has 2 stars between the letters in Liberty followed by the 13th star. The reverse is similar to one used in 1896 on J1770-J1772/P1986-P1989 but with the motto "E Pluribus Unum" added.
