Charles Barber's Flowing hair design in aluminum. 5 examples are known including the illustrated piece from Sotheby's Browning collection. Prior to this, it was offered in Paramount's June 1975 Rare Coin List #10.

White Metal J1637A/P1836 which is unique ex N.M. Kaufman-RARCOA 8/78, SRCA 6/81, SRCA 10/81, B/M 6/91, M. Kodner, StacksBowers 3/23 – PCGS63.
A second obverse die is known by a single example in copper J1636A/P1837 whose pedigree dates back to the 1906 H.P. Smith sale lot 1447. It has since been gilted.
