George Morgan's famous liberty head design, previously believed to have been modeled after Anna Williams. This was also made as an eagle J1581-J1582/P1774-P1775.

About a dozen are known, several of which have been gilted, of which 3 are in museums. For images of most of these, click here.

These were also struck in gold J1577/P1770 with only two known sa follows:

1) Massamore 11/1884, Steigerwalt 4/1885, Scott 11/1888 (Foster Ely), C.F. Libbie 10/01, Mitchelson, Connecticut State Library.

2) Parmelee, Chapman Brothers, Brand, Judd, Wilkison, Smithsonian
