George T. Morgan's famous Liberty Head design previously believed to have been modeled after Anna Williams. Although listed second in Pollock, this is acually the first obverse of this type.
5 examples of this design are known, but only the illustrated piece ex Maris 6/1886, Garrett-JHU, Garrett I, Fred-B/M 11/95 as PCGS63, K. Goldman as NGC64, Superior 7/03, ANR 12/03, Heritage 1/19 FUN - NGC63 dipped is known from this obverse die.
