Although described as regular dies trial pieces, these were deliberately struck for sale to collectors as part of complete off-metal sets.
Examples were struck as follows:
Copper J1346. This is unlisted in Pollock. If any do exist, they are probably masquerading as a regular issue proof.
Nickel J1346A/P1491 with only the Stacks 1/87, Heritage 7/22 example confirmed and illustrated below courtesy of NGC.

We believe this piece to be a mint error struck either on a planchet intended for a foreign coin or on a nickel 3 cent planchet. For more on this, click here.
Aluminum J1347/P1490 with the following 2 confirmed:
1) Lauder-Doyle 12/83, Heritage 3/03, Simpson-Heritage 9/20 - PCGS64, illustrated above, click on the thumbnail image to enlarge
2) Heritage 2/16 - PCGS63, illustrated below

One of these is ex Brenner-1914 ANS, Brand (journal #92500:1398) and the other ex Woodin, Newcomer.
