This is one of the designs that was sold by the mint in 6 piece sets for $30. The sets were made in silver with both plain and reeded edges, copper and aluminum. To view the set, click, here.

J1281/P1423 in silver with reeded edge with over 50 believed to exist.

J1282/P1424 in silver with plain edge with only 3 or 4 believed to exist from among: To see images of this and the following, click here.

1) Simpson-Heritage 11/20 – PCGS63

2) Burke-B/M 5/94 as PCGS63, Goldberg 10/00, Wyoming collection – NGC65

3) Heritage 5/03 as NCS proof 60 details obverse scratch improperly cleaned

4) Heritage 8/95 ANA as AU50 cleaned, tooled, possibly same as last

5) Anderson-Dupont-Stacks 11/54, possibly one of above

J1283/P1425 in copper with reeded edge with about 10 known.

J1284/P1426 in aluminum with reeded edge with the only traceable example being the Farouk, Kagin's 1/75, Wyoming collection piece.

This design is the only one of the 6 regular pattern designs not known in white metal. Perhaps one will be discovered in the future.
