The reverse is shown by flipping head over date (normal coin turn). Notice that the left pellet on the reverse is lower than the right and the eagle is flying level or even downwards.

Virtually all Gobrecht dollars in alignment III including all copper examples are restrikes struck in the 1850s through 1870s. Only a few examples of J60/P65 from the perfect state of the reverse die are known in this alignment which may be original.
