Although described as a regular dies trial piece, these were actually deliberately struck for sale to collectors as part of complete sets.
Examples were struck as follows:
Copper J1056/P1191 with fewer than a half dozen known.
Aluminum J1057/P1192 with fewer than a 3 confirmed.
Steel J1058/P1193. This may have been struck in pure nickel or iron. It is unique with only the Judson Brenner-1914 ANS exhibit piece known.
